Victor has brought the Sonero back into modern Salsa,

With this release, Victor Manuelle brought the Sonero back to the Salsa scene. Victor and Sergio George have fused the classic sonero de Puerto Rico with the street edge of urban New York. Victor's style is reminiscent of Ruben Blades. The tracks differ in pace, have solos (no longer heard in Salsa) and a funk that can't be denied. Welcome contribution from the young Puerto Rican generation who was getting tired of sappy love swoons.
