The arrangements are on point, her voice is a soulful as ever and I've just been playing it over and over in my car. I love the title track, "Estupida" (both salsa and ballad versions are amazing)..Si el te habla de mi.. and the salsa in english was an added surprise..India's voice is still very rich, and the songs have poignant, emotional lyrics that BAM, hit you right in the heart because, hey, maybe some of us have lived them! We love you, India! 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Unica (Audio CD) I have always been a die-hard India fan, but I can't help but think her last few singles/albums were far from the best. This album, however, takes her back to her classic salsa sound. No reggaeton here, just pure salsa combined with those amazing pipes for which India is famous. Stand outs: Estupida (the first single for good reason), Ni Fines de Semana Ni Dias Festivos, Si El Te Habla de Mi, and Si Estoy Loca. Must buy this CD, especially if you're a fan of La India in her prime salsa says. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Unica (MP3 Download) This album is Hot don't pass it up> India is back and stronger than ever. |
