Product Description
Rising out of the South Bronx Puerto Rican community, Big Pun was the first solo Latino hip hop artist to achieve platinum sales. Born Christopher Rios in 1971, he adapted the name Big Pun in the 1980s and, after honing his skills in New York City s underground rap scene, soon appeared on fellowartists The Beatnuts and Fat Joe s albums before achieving massive success as a solo artist.
With material drawn from two number one Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums as well as spoken word and sound-bytes from the acclaimed film, The Legacy, encompasses Big Pun s entire, albeit too-short, career and includes the hit singles I m Not A Player, Still Not A Player, 100% and It s So Hard. With this compilation, hip hop fans can once again nod their heads to the exquisite rhyme flow and lyrical debonair of a rapper in his prime and at the top of his game.

This cd is awesome. You do not have to skip a track from start to finish.
Great buy. Capital Punishment is better, but everything pun made was good. He was truly underrated.

Believe it or not Big Punisher aka Big Pun (real name Christopher Rios) is the best rapper of all time. Lyrically nobody, and I mean NOBODY can touch him. He spits deadly gangster rap and his rhymes are highly sophisticated and extremely intelligent. The only reason why he is not on the top of the game right now is because he died February 7, 2000 at the young age of 28 years old. If Pun were still alive the rap game would be completely different, trust me. Rappers from the east-coast to the west-coast like Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, Cam'ron, Mobb Deep, The Roots. Nas and Jadakiss all praise him as they would a god. Big Pun's masterful flow is more thugged out and gangster then 2pac could have ever imagined, and more boss then The Notorious B.I.G on Ready To Die. After buying this CD you realize (if you haven't already) that Big Punisher is GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL-TIME!!!!!!
Rest In Peace Big Pun (November 10, 1971 - February 7, 2000)
