First Nine Songs Are Cool, Rest Are Boring,

I'm pretty happy with this CD. I think the first nine songs are pretty cool and enjoy dancing to most of them. These first nine tracks have very upbeat rythms. However, the rest of the songs are older and more boring. Perhaps it's just because I'm young, but I find myself skipping through those last several tracks. To be honest, if the last 7 tracks weren't as boring, I'd give this CD a higher rating. I think it's cool that this CD has the Austin Powers theme song (track 9, "Soula Bossa Nova") on it. Yeah baby!

I originally bought the CD for Beck's "Burro," which is the Mariachi version of "Jackass." The track is excellent... it's worth the price of the entire CD. The rest of the tunes are just an added bonus (except the annoying "Hot, Hot, Hot"). The CD is perfect for spicing up any party, whether on the dance floor, or simply as background music.

I love the mixture of songs on this CD...there are songs to dance to and songs to daydream to. I travelled to California for the first time this past summer and I bought it over there. So listening to it reminds me of my sweet sultry summer experiences and of finally being 21. Some songs which I simply worship are "Light my fire" and "Oye como Va".
