Summary: UN DISCO MUY ESPECIAL 2007-11-06
Comment: No soy un fan de Luis Miguel ni un admirador, difícilmente compre un disco suyo. Pero entiendo que hay que ser justos, este es un disco muy válido, perfectamente logrado. Cuando hace ya mas de una decada recibí este disco como un regalo, lo habré escuchado un par de veces y hasta hace pocos dias, quedó lisa y llanamente descartado en mi colección. Creo que detestaba este trabajo. Pero cuando lo volví a encontrar, decidí darle otra oportunidad, y ahi me di cuenta que estuve equivocado. Es un disco que ha dado nueva vida al bolero, lo ha modernizado, y fue un factor de difusión decisivo. Creo que gran parte del resultado se debe al trabajo de producción de Armando Manzanero, impecable por donde se lo mire, lo mismo que los arreglos de Bebu Silvetti. Con estos ingredientes se ha logrado un disco muy agradable de escuchar, balanceado, y si bien no es perfecto, sí deja una sensación de que cada uno de los que han intervenido en su grabación y proceso puso lo mejor de sí.
Las canciones incluidas son joyas indiscutibles, pero a mi entender los puntos mas altos están en "Inolvidable", "Contigo a la distancia", "Te extraño" y "La Puerta". El resto no desentona para nada.
El unico punto que hoy resulta discutible es la calidad de la grabación, que si bien a su tiempo era impecable, hoy, cuando ya pasó mas de una década y media desde su lanzamiento (1991), no parece tan buena, y quizás este es un asunto que tiene solución con las técnicas actuales de remasterización.
En suma, no me atrevo a llamarlo una obra maestra, pero si un trabajo muy recomendable que marcó a fuego una época en la que el bolero renació para el gran público.

Summary: One Of The Greatest CD's Of All Time 2004-11-16
Comment: This is Luis Miguel's breakthrough into romantic ballads and one of the best cd's you will own. It won't matter if you don't speak spanish because the music transcends language barriers.
Even though it is over ten years old now, the music does not sound dated as the arrangements are timeless.

Comment: This album is wonderful! I heard the song, "No Se Tu", on the Speechless movie, and HAD to find it! I don't normally buy Spanish albums, but this? This was one you HAVE to have!!!
And YES! MUCHO love has been made to these songs............
