This is super fun dance music that doesn't need too much thinking to enjoy. Not quite the same as previous Pitbull albums, if you like a fairly mainstream beat and are a Pitbull fan, you'll probably like this. If you're looking for more hip-hop and something edgier, you'll probably hate it.

Planet Pit is the latest offering from MR. 305/Pitbull himself whom has been gaining momentum in the charts in the past few weeks, this album is no disappointment you will like 90% of the tracks that are found in this album, heck even the intro is awesome!

If you have been following Pit since the Unleashed Mixtape days, you already know he's up to the game, or he'll catch up - he's not afraid to try new genres from rap, spanish, now electronic/dance - and Planet Pit is just that electronic/dance with a splash of that latin flavor. The only thing I wish is that an old school freestyle rap flow added as a bonus.

1. Mr. Worldwide (Intro) (feat. Vein) ( !!!LOVE IT!!!- most awesome intro I've ever heard to an album!)
2. Give Me Everything (feat. NeYo, Afrojack & Nayer) ( - current single thats being played on top 40 radio)
3. Rain Over Me (feat. Marc Anthony) (!!LOVE IT!!!- come on Marc Anthony kills the hook, his voice is simply unbeatable, great...Read more

The Manual (How to Have a Number One the Easy Way) is a 1988 book by The Timelords (Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty), better known as The KLF. It is a tongue-in-cheek step by step guide to achieving a No.1 single with no money or musical skills, and a case study of the duo's UK novelty pop No. 1 "Doctorin' the Tardis"

Stupid hooks: Check. Catchy chorus: Check. Devoid of any musical skills: Check

Add to that an unoriginal fairly mainstream beat and VOILA! you got the basic idea behind Planet Pit.

What saves it from a one star rating is the Marc Anthony collaboration and the fact that I have only heard the songs that have been played on the radio, so I have to be somewhat fair in my assessments. Give Me Everything is a horrible, unoriginal piece of crap song that got overplayed into oblivion on the top 40 radio stations down in south florida. Pit's lyrics are a bit juvenile and one dimensional(ie they are all about "girl, i wanna get in your pants and this...Read more
