When mixing chemicals, everyone knows you add the acid to the base to avoid dangerous splashback. When putting together this album, the artists seem to have used techno as the base, and judiciously added norteño music as an acid, often with pleasing results. "Punta Banda" and "Do It" are the best up-tempo tracks on this album, although you won't be sure whether to wave glowsticks or don a cowboy hat and boots while you dance. The title track is a haunting song bordering on trance music and is probably the most artistic and was for me the most unexpectedly arresting of all the songs in this collection.
It turns out techno can be mixed with almost anything (or rather, that anything can be mixed with techno), proving yet again that techno music is the true heir of classical music's mantle as humanity's best musical canvass on which masterpieces can be painted.

This album is by far the finest of all the Nortec Collective work. Also known as the Tijuana Sound Machine, Bostich and Fussible's mix of techno and norteno illuminate your ears. This particular album uses more vocals and by far exceeds anything done before. I highly recommend this album.

Clicked this title because it had a cool cover and little did I know the music within it would be just as wonderful. Great grab!
