For Marisa fans, this is a must-have. The sound and visuals are far superior to the video, plus there are a bunch of great extras, including the award-winning Segue o Seco video, the complete Besta e tu performance, and a fun interview with Marisa where she gives a glimpse into the friendships with Carlinhos Brown and Arnaldo Antunes that gave us the recent and tremendous Tribalistas. For those not familiar with Brazilian muic, this is a great introduction, showing the charm and vitality and variety of the music, plus, and most importantly, this is a great showcase for the voice and beauty of Marisa. Five stars is not enough!

DVD version tracks are not same as on audio CD version,

Marisa is great on this DVD. My only issue is with Amazon - they don't provide a listing of the songs on this DVD. I mistakenly believed that the DVD contained a superset (same + extra tracks) of the same songs as on the audio CD version (A Great Noise), but this is not the case. Many songs on the audio CD (which I looked forward to hearing) are not on this DVD.
Also, this is not simply a DVD of live concert performances, but rather a set of video travel journal of studio recordings interspersed with 3 or 4 live concert tracks.

This is one of the first musical dvd's I've purchased and I have been showing it to my friends because the songs, the images and quality of sound are terrific. Best of all is the interplay of Marisa with her friends/band members. I have loved Brazilian music for years but this dvd's English subtitles and scenes of Brazil really opens up the music for me and my friends. "Mais" is enjoyable too.
