Maestra Vida Vol. 1

Maestra Vida has been considered the first Latin-American opera by some. This is for good reason, as this album features some of the same elements of theatre found in opera, while staying true to its salsa roots. Some of the tracks have become standalone hits in their own right, such as "Manuela" and "Como Tu" from this first part. All of the music is excellently scored and sung and has a very "down home" type feel. It speaks of many of the social injustices Ruben Blades is famous for exposing and seeking to have changed. Definitely a great album that is welcome in any salsa collection.

it's one of the best song that really discrebe the politics, handle are way of living but the song is so true and we the people are always in the rear

I cannot believe the rapid thing that this bundle came, in perfect conditions and with delivery confirmation also. This seller did not have rating because it is new, but believe me that it is grand.
