Joe Lopez is one of the best Tejano artist's around. Bands come and go but this guy, you can tell he loves his music and his fans. All the songs are danceable. I can listen to his music in the car, at home anytime. Never gets old. Sure to be a legend in the Tejano industry.

This CD is an excellent choice, because it contains a good selection of rancheras, cumbias, baladas, and boleros, thus demonstrating the versatility of the band, and especially the vocal talents of Joe Lopez. His voice is clear, strong, and sweet, with a distinctive timbre. He has impeccable timing and cadence, for instance on 'Pero a Ella.' His voice transcends genres--he deserves international recognition as a great vocalist of enduring value. 'Popurri de Boleros' is a special treat midway through the CD. The band is in fine form, too: the all-instrumental 'Polkitas de Jaime' set my 8-year-old boy dancing, with a joyful spontaneity seldom seen since he was a toddler. Tejano music lost a great singer when Joe Lopez was sent to prison in 2006. Many believe he was wrongfully convicted of rape as a result of false allegations made by a relative in a failed extortion attempt. this has to be one of mazz greatest works, this cd rocks and furthermore the cd " que esperhabas" is also awsome
