Summary: Great songs, helpful to teach my son the basics 2008-09-03
Comment: I first checked out this cd at the library for my 2 year old son and we loved it! We are teaching my son spanish and this was just perfect. My husband isn't a native spanish speaker, but he enjoyed it and liked that some of the songs are in both spanish and english. Great songs, very catchy and clever.

Comment: My bilingual kindergartners can't get enough of this CD! They listen to it during literacy centers each morning and it is the most popular center I have.They would sit and sing along with José Luis Orozco all morning if I didn't move them along to another center. The songs on this disc have catchy, repetitive tunes and the lyrics are excellent for charting and reading during your literacy time. This CD is well worth your money!

Summary: Good for Spanish Speakers 2001-01-26
Comment: I was looking for fun songs my 7 year old could learn to sing. He is taking a Spanish enrichment class one day a week. The songs were not easy for him to understand. Also, the tape is mostly in Spanish with no translation. A booklet would have been helpful.

Comment: If your children speak spanish or are learning to, you MUST have this cd. Its a wonderful teaching tool. My boys LOVE the music of jose luis orozco. He makes learning another language FUN through his renditions of classic latin-american folkloric songs and songs about counting, etc. Great for babies, and especially preschoolers and kindergartners.
