Comment: These 4 sets of CDs are really wonderful, filled with great songs. For months it was all I listened to. If you want to listen to ranchera music from the golden age this is a great source.

Summary: A ranchera cd must have!!! 2003-01-29
Comment: Ok,, so you would like a ranchera collection. Look no further. IN this cd you'll find one of the best collections out there with the best artists. The original and original recordings are here. The bad part though is that only artists that were with RCA (now part of BMG) are included so you are missing artists like JAvier Solis, VIcente Fernandez, and PEdro Infante who were with Colimbia(now part of SOny) and Peerless( Now with WEA). NEvertheless,, back in the golden era RCA was the label any artist loved to be. You got here ALejandro RIvera, Lucha Villa, Lola Beltran, Jose ALfredo Jimenez, Mariachi Vargas, Miguel Aceves Mejia, Jorge NEgrete, etc. Yes, pretty much the BIG NAMES. But Wait,, that's not all. This is actually a cd from a 2 valume, double each, cd set. SO get volume 2 as well. You won't be disappointed.
