Bought this album because it was cheap and the sample tracks sounded like they didn't suck. Wow! This thing turned out way better than I ever imagined! I don't speak a word of Spanish, but the music is so well put together you'll be bobbing your head within seconds of starting the album. If you like hip-hop and good music then you are going to like this album. If you speak Spanish, well I envy you because it probably is even more awesome for you.

WARNING: This album is in Spanish NOT English.

This is by far one of the best hip-hop albums I've heard in a long time.

The entire album is complete and well thought out. It doesn't sound like a series of recordings just thrown together to make an album release. It has a lot of Hip-Hop, Soul, and R&B influences. The beats are strong and tight without being overproduced. Her lyrics are just as strong and purposeful. Refreshingly, there's no Bentley and champagne nonsense on this body of work. Her voice is very beautiful and she's able to rap with credibility. Any one of her songs could and should get significant radio airplay.

Now, I know if you're the average North American that only speaks English, you may not be interested in a Spanish album. However, I'd say that Ana's music is so good, you won't need a translator. I took six years of Spanish in high school and college, so I can follow along fine. I hope she releases another album in English so that...Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Full of rhythm, rhyme, and so much more, May 6, 2012

This CD is a fabulous addition to any music collection. Ana sings and raps with feet of the ground and rhythm out the wazoo. Beyond this, she reaches for music with meaning. Rather than rattle off rhyming materialistic nonsense, she makes a statement with every song. From deeply political to autobiographical, she is a real woman, discussing real things.
Ana is worth the buy. I love her music, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to bridge into the world of hip-hop, rap, and soul music. :)
