JENNI RIVERA, The number one Banda Singer in the US and Mexico, Releases her first ever Ballads album "JOYAS PRESTADAS" ("BORROWED JEWELS")

With a music career that spans 12 years and after becoming the leader and indisputable success of the Regional Mexican music genre, only to later do the same in the ranchero genre, Jenni Rivera returns to the music industry with a major surprise for her fans and new audiences alike, as she releases her first ever album of ballads titled "Joyas Prestadas."

Jenni Rivera enters a new musical facet of her career with the release of her new album, "Joyas Prestadas" ("Borrowed Jewels"), available November 21st , a production in which fans can appreciate a more tenderhearted, humble, more sensitive, but above all, much more artistic side of Jenni as she sings ballads and classic songs that were once great hits for top artists.

"Joyas Prestadas" will be released in 2 formats, Banda (regional Mexican) and Pop. Each album includes 11 tracks interpreted in pop and in banda styles, with the unmistakable voice and style that has placed the singer as #1 in sales today and positioned her as the best Mexican female vocalist in terms of live shows.

Jenni Rivera decided to record "Joyas Prestadas" because as a young girl, she still remembers those 11 hits she recorded for this album were the very same records she sold as a music store cashier.

"The title of the album is a reflection of my feelings for these songs - they are veritable musical jewels that other singers made popular. These incredible singers have now given me the honor of lending them to me so that I can sing them myself," said Jenni.

The evidence of the fan's reaction to Jenni's new musical facet is in the charts. "Basta Ya", the album's first single, climbed the charts and is now among the top five spots in the best radio stations in Mexico in just four weeks since its release, moving up every week. In the USA, the song debuted among the top 20 spots and is now among the top 15 and climbing, and is certain to bring "The Great Lady" of song to the number one position in a few weeks.

The single "Basta Ya" is a song that was composed by renowned singer/songwriter Marco Antonio Solis (who also joins Jenni in the chorus), and that was once made famous by singer Olga TaƱon.
