Independiente

Personalmente, crei que pasaria mucho tiempo antes que Arjona pudiera salir con una produccion mejor que "Adentro", me alegra haberme equivocado. "Adentro" sigue siendo mi produccion favorita, sin embargo tengo que admitir que este album es de igual calidad.

This time Arjona reaches back and borrows some from his own original technique in which he combines the usual metaphore, the synonyms and the antonyms, but in a more conscious manner than that used in more recent Arjona's material. The songs on this CD are carefully crafted, and one can sense a little more of that passion originally found in his earliest work. In this new creation the song "Fuiste Tu" in itself is worth buying the CD. Arjona really unleashed all the inner gut feelings when writing the lyrics on this one, and together with Gaby's sweet voice he found the most adequate vehicle to deliver the emotions contained in it, and impregnate the listener with the same sensation. This song is "independently" the culmination of what song-writing is about. And unquestionably the icing on the cake for 'Independiente'- great duet! Escuche un par de temas e inmediatamente me di cuenta que la calidad era la misma que quedo olvidada en sus primeros trabajos. Letras naturales y con lindas melodias pegajosas, en varios temas del CD. Totalmente lo opuesto a Poquita Ropa, que en mi opinion, es el PEOR trabajo de Arjona, que seguro le resto fans que ya tenia, y quien lo escucho por 1ra vez en ese album, seguro que no lo volvio a escuchar, album totalmente forzado, editado en bruto donde ninguna de sus canciones debio haberse grabado en limpio, el album era sucio. Pero este review no es de Poquita Ropa (ya dejare uno en el lugar donde corresponde) sino de Independiente, y pienso que, valiendo la redundancia, 'independientemente' de lo que haya sido su anterior trabajo, este esta muy bueno y vale la pena escucharlo y curtirlo. Puede marcarnos una linda epoca, asi que vale la pena comprarlo ya!!
