Summary: Haciendo Historia 2008-09-18
Comment: Classic Latin-dancing songs (Bachata style) - top quality and well worth buying - pity it is not readily available in Australia, but Amazon came to the rescue (and it only took two weeks to get here!) Buy it if you are into Bachata - a MUST BUY

Summary: buying in amazon 2008-02-11
Comment: I attempt to buy two times in amazon because of the reason it was
failed of delivery. My item is already empty when it arrive
at my door. Well anyway i choose the option of shipping with a
cheaper option, when i open the package it item or disc was already
gone, one only remain is the case of the disc.
Man i doubt that was stolen somewhere in the post office, but i did
not blame amazon for that. It was a bad experience when bought or
purchase in amazon and when it delivered through my door.
but in the other side, the disc was good and the process is great.
The service? I'm not sure..
Anyway, when i attempt to buy in a second time. Well it arrive
fast specially i already choose the shipping with the most expensive
one. Well for now, im not yet satisfied of the shipping option.

Summary: Not bad for Bachata 2007-08-06
Comment: Now I am not a big bachata fan, but as my wife has really gotten into salsa dancing, we have been gradually replacing our eighties rock collection with new and old latin music CDs.
Haciendo Historia by Xtreme is different to the usual Bachata album in a number of ways:
(1) They repeat their name throughout the song, just like the rappers do.. This is quite odd at first
(2) Several of the songs on the album are in English.
(3) A couple of the songs are remixed and you can't really dance bachata to them - although they are OK to listen to.
(4) There is some long basktetball skit at the beginning and end of the disc which is really pointless. Really.
That said, if you are tired of the same old bachata and are looking for something with a more modern twist then this disc will appeal to you. The tempo is quite upbeat and the guys have decent sounding voices.

Summary: ROMANTICA 2007-06-28
Comment: I thought this CD was banging. I love when XTREME comes up with romantic music to sit back and chill with your man/girl. I always listen to XTREME, they have such wonderful voices together.
Thanks,

Summary: Cheesy, disappointing 2007-05-30
Comment: The catchy, "Shorty, Shorty" prompted me to buy this disc. After my first listen I was dissappointed. After my second listen I was just plain irritated. Most of the cuts are unimaginative and feel very programmed, and really not very danceable - like something you would expect from apparently what is still considered a "boy band." The first and last cuts (intro and outro) are a complete waste - Why is the announcing of a baseball game on a bachata CD? And then there is the irritating line of "X - X - treme" on every single song! Don't waste your money like I did.
