Summary: A very good guitar music CD 2008-06-20
Comment: I have all of Jesse Cook's music (except his Montreal CD which was just a live performance of some of his music). He's a great musician (I also have seen him live, and plan to see him again in July 08). As to the CD, if you have heard his music, you will like the CD. It's a little fast in a couple of songs, and there is some actual singing on one song (Spanish), but mostly it is guitar music with nice background percussion and occasionally some string instruments. He's a innovative musician (with a sense of humor) that has created an easy going, pleasant background music (I pick and choose some of his music for massage background music). In sum, it's an excellent CD, but I will admit I am slightly biased. I'm not sure if I would label his music as adult alternative or new age.

Summary: review of jesse cook's cd "frontiers" 2008-06-13
Comment: prior to buying jesse cook's cd i had purchased all of his previous cd's. in my opinion "frontiers" is the least desireable. not that it is bad,it just does not reach the high standard heard on his other cd's. they were outstanding ' this one is avereage.

Summary: cds are good, live shows even better 2008-05-14
Comment: great album. consistent material what you would expect from him. however, if you can see his live show, you'll really understand the guy's talent. just because music like this isn't on the billboard charts or on mtv/vh1 or radio, doesn't mean that it's not great music. get out and search for music off the beaten path, maybe start here...then hang out with johannes linstead and govi

Summary: Great Picken 2008-05-13
Comment: I've never been too interested in classical guitar in the past. I heard a song of his a few times on XM jazz and decided to check the rest on line. I ownd two of his CD's now and they're both really good. A great change of pace from rock and regular jazz.
