"Dark Night" by The Blasters is a great opening for the film and the soundtrack. "Mexican Blackbird" by ZZ Top follows. Along with some blues tunes and an unexpected dialouge from Cheech Marin. The two score pieces fill the rest of the space. Great soundtrack for a night in an "off the wall cantina, man". 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By A Kramer (st. pete, FL) - See all my reviews This review is from: From Dusk Till Dawn: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD) I found the movie hilarious and entertaining, and the soundtrack is even better.I am a huge fan of the southwestern rock, and this CD is what I have been looking for. Chet's speech is one of the highlights of the album. There is one fault to the album, and that is the goofy song Texas funeral. It's just too damn weird. Besides that, the album is great. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By A Customer This review is from: From Dusk Till Dawn: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD) If you even think you may like Southwestern flavored rock, this is a must have CD. Great songs, great artist, and it really fits the films personality. Who doesn't love SRV and ZZ Top? Not your everyday, run of the mill music, and that's why I love it! |
