Comment: This is a mixed bag from Crespo's career, with one song, the '98 duet with Millie Quesada ("La Reina del Merengue") which was to win them a "Duo Tropical del Aņo" Billboard Award that is not included in his other CDs, the terrific "Linda Eh", which is from a hard to find CD simply called "Elvis Crespo", and an 18 minute VCD that includes a music video of "Bandida", a "galeria de fotos", "biografia", and "discografia", making this package a worthwhile buy if you're a dedicated Elvis fan."Suavemente" from Elvis' first 1998 CD of the same name has to be one of the most irresistible dance songs ever recorded, and here you get the original, as well as a re-mix (partially in English) which doesn't live up to the freshness and vigor of the original, but is still quite good. Other songs from the first CD are "Tu Sonrisa" and the marvelous "Luna Llena".
From his 1999 CD you get "Pintame" which I always found to be rather repetitive, but was a big hit for him, and "Por el Caminito" which I like a lot.
From his 2000 CD, "Wow Flash", you get the title track, and "La Noche" with its nice guitar intro.
From his disappointing 2002 CD, "Urbano", there is "La Cerveza", 2 versions of "Bandida" (one without the rap section), and an "Urbano" re-mix medley which has a lively blend of rhythms. Most of this CD is worth polishing up your dancing shoes for, with at least 3 stellar numbers (tracks # 1, 3 and 9) and many others that are lots of fun and great to dance to.
The insert foldout only includes a song list and total playing time is 63'00.
