I love this man. He wraps words around a beat like no other right now. Ivy Queen, Tego Calderon, and Coscuellela run reggaeton. Long live the Queen, the King, and el Principe. Nuff respecto to El Mueka y ONeil.

The Prince Returns with an inventive Reggaeton set,

Picking up right where "Prrum" left off, "El Nino" finds Cosculluela in fierce and aggressive form. The trademark multilayered self interactive rapping is as inventive as ever, and throbbing bass paired with the dem-bow riddim and creative variations keep this grounded in the magic of great reggaeton. Cosculluela's voice is urgent and tight, with creative use of the autotune which still manages to sound fresh and interesting. I love his rhymes and his rapid fire patter, but even more I enjoy stories that he evokes, the rhythms that wash over. I never know what to make of his tough persona, he seems like he is so much more underneath, but however you slice it, this is hot Reggaeton, sure to light up the dance floor and keep you dancing in your seat as you struggle to wrap your tongue around his words. Great fun, and surprisingly complex songwriting. Recommended for reggaeton afficionados and newcomers alike.
