Summary: This is Latin America's Joshua Tree 2008-10-23
Comment: And just like the U2 masterpiece, it is beloved and hated for exactly the same reasons. All that I will say about this album is that 14 years later, any dance club in Latin America filled with horny, sweaty young people will erupt when the DJ plays Oye Mi Amor. Just something to see for yourself and speaks volumes about the relevance of this pop band even today.

Summary: Old School Mana 2007-06-27
Comment: I am a huge fan of mana and after going to their concert recently, I decided to buy one of their older albums. It is a great album, especially "vivir sin aire". It also addresses issues that are current such as global warming.

Comment: IF YOU LOVE MANA TODAY YOU WILL LOVE THIS CLASSICS FROM THE 90'S. THIS IS THE ESSENCE OF MANA, THE BEGINNING OF THEIR CAREER AND IF YOU WERE FROM THAT ERA IT WILL BROUGHT A LOT OF MEMORIES TO YOU. GREAT MUSIC!

Summary: Excellent 2006-06-26
Comment: This album is probably Mana's finest work. This is basically the last album they did before they went overly pop-oriented. The album art is simple, just the band with their instruments. While other albums try to catch your eye with flashy cover art, this album may go unnoticed. However, there isn't a bad song on this disc, and it is worth every penny. The songs range from love songs, to songs about difficult life circumstances, and all the songs are sung with incredible raw emotion. The music is great, and it goes with the lyrics and voice perfectly.
This is the album that shows everything Mana is capable of. Incredible!

Summary: Some good listening 2005-05-26
Comment: I started listening to Mana about 4 years ago. The first song that I heard from them was "como dueles en los labios". After findnig out who the band was, I searched for that song and ran into "Donde Jugaran Los Ninos." The album was excellent and I have bought every album since. I have not tired of any of their songs. I highly recommend this and any of their albums. As for the person who posted from Peru, I think it's a little unfair to call their music garbage(basura). If you know about Mana, then you know Peru was big in Mana's rise. Thanks for that. Aside from that, what band has come out of Peru that has been a hit in the U.S.? As for the music being just for (gringos), I'm a chicano and most of the people I know that listen to them are Mexican, or chicano. It's nice to know there are American's that do listen to it. Good for our white friends for expanding their taste in music. Unfortunately our friend from Peru is shallow.
