Prime Cuts: Good Morning Sunshine, The Sound of Your Voice, Fall for You

Though it's not quite Velasquez's diamond anniversary, she sure has been along for a long time. Since her debut in 1992, she has been indispensable to Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) with staples such as "On My Knee,' "Adore" and "God So Loved." Four years since her last disc "Love Out Loud," "Diamond" is Velasquez first album for InPop Records. Like her predecessor, this new collection follows her tried and true path of pop anthems and lushful ballads. Such consistency is the fruit of her song writing team which includes CCM's most notable scribe Tony Wood plus Chad Gates, Barry Weeks and Velasquez herself. But on several occasions, Velasquez does the detour for some jazzy excursions, a back to her roots Spanish song and even a techno-dance praise workout. (This is Gaila's son, Jake) I've been a fan since I was 3 ,and this CD is no dissapointment!!! Diamond is amazing!!! You regret it if you buyt his album!!! Just listening to the samples of this album made me fall in love with! I love it! The songs are magical! Jaci pours her heart out on this record!!! It's Jaci at her best. If you weren't a huge fan of Love Out Loud, don't worry!!! DIAMOND is way better!!! The songs have great messages and great tunes. BUY IT!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!

DIAMOND - GREAT OPENING!!! It's perhaps the most beautiful magical song with it's music and graceful lyrics! It talks about how God can take anything one who is broken and sinful and turn there life around and make it shine like a diamond! Jesus molds our lives; we need to let him take control! He'll let us shine for him, just trust what He is doing. (2nd favorite)
