Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: Desparado 2008-09-07
Comment: Excellent vintage rock and roll with some brooding blues tracks. Some numbers are done with a slightly different tempo than on the artist's CD - with a better effect - in my view.

Summary: worthy soundtrack 2008-04-28
Comment: The soundtrack to Desperado not only compliments the movie flawlessly, but it also sound just fine by itself. While keeping with its Mexican theme, it offers a good mix of fast, slow, and moderate tunes. I can push play and not feel the need to skip around to specific songs. Well worth it.

Summary: WHO KNEW BANDERAS COULD SING? 2008-03-25
Comment: I really didn't think Antonio Banderas was singing in the movie version of the Mariachi song, good tune.

Summary: Holds Up Over Time 2007-07-18
Comment: I saw "Desperado" in the theaters when it came out, and I loved the movie itself, but also, I was blown away by the soundtrack. I went right out and purchased it, and it's been a regular in my CD player ever since, for 11 plus years. Every single one of the songs holds its own away from the movie, and the other songs. "Strange Face of Love" is one of my all time favorite songs. Plus, I like the bits of dialog. The only reason I didn't give this CD 5 stars was because I'm incredibly stingy with them!

Summary: Fantastic! 2007-05-27
Comment: I have searched everywhere for this soundtrack in NZ and finally found it on Amazon... and it was so worth the search and wait. Link Wray, Santana, Los Lobos and Dire Straits ... great compilation thats Mexican enough for summer BBQs!
