This fifth collection of - "The Colors Of Latin Jazz - SABROSO!", features eleven tracks of - "Tasty" indeed! A collection of contemporary, smooth jazz, peppered with Latin rhythms and percussion. A musical hybrid that's at once cool & smooth, yet hot & spicy! Sabroso!" A quotation from the liner notes covers for the most part what this album is about, but don't stop there, you're about to take a journey into every color of Latin jazz.The entire CD is awesome from start to finish, with stand outs and highlights. "ALL THIS LOVE" (El DeBarge) with Pete Escovedo featuring Gerald Albright & George Duke, big hit when first released by the composer, but this goes beyond the original - "SAN SEBASTIAN" (Ed Calle) performance by composer with special guest Arturo Sandoval, with a haunting arrangement that lingers for days - "MISTER E" (Dan Shea) another track featuring Pete Escovedo, smooth jazz is a tall...Read more
