Comment: Fantastic guitar skills! I love the high energy that streams through their music, it always puts me in an upbeat mood. Adding Willie Nelson to one of their songs adds a truly special twist.

Comment: Thank you fellow reviewers for putting me onto these guys. If you mixed the GYPSY KINGS / LOS LOBOS / SANTANA / FELICIANO and added some BLUES, you'd be close. Stupendous spanish guitar playing that comes close to accoustic shred. Superb songs that will not leave you alone and have you singing in a language you don't understand at the top of your voice. This is totaly infectious and totaly brilliant. Don't hesitate if you have no CASTILLO in your collection. You are really missing out if you don't hear this. I don't think it matters what your musical preferences are, these guys will score a knock out and make you a fan within the first couple of tunes.

Summary: Guitars so fast, you forget to breathe 2007-08-02
Comment: I saw these guys live in Austin, New Years Eve 2003. I was on my feet from the first song. I've been a fan since then and have both their previous albums and live DVD. No album is better than the others but this one does have a Willie duet. So plunk down a few pesos amigo, and buy yourself some real music.

Comment: The Del Castillo brothers are fantastic guitarists. Fusing flamenco and rock rhythms, they offer intense and often very dancable songs sung passionately by the fantastic singer alex Ruiz. On this, their 3rd album, they cut back on the instrumentals and feature more singing, some in English. Willie Nelson guests on one song,"I never cared for you".I saw them live last year and picked this disc up after the show. If they come to a club near you, see them! They are fantastic live.They are also featured on the "once upon a time in Mexico" soundtrack and the "chingon" disc.
