Summary: Bocanada [Cerati's First Solo Masterpiece] 2007-06-29
Comment: Definitely one of Cerati's best work as a Producer and a Musician. It was the stepping stone for what he would be recognized in the future (his Electro/Rock Musical Style). Very centralized as a Rock album with many electronic elements, Bocanada is a masterpiece of creativity ahead of its time. My Favorite tracks ( "Rio babel" & "Beautiful" ) are both musical experiences you love to hear over and over again... Buy this Album!

Summary: Bocanada is a masterpiece 2007-01-22
Comment: Gustavo Cerati's Bocanada is a masterpiece. It offers an engrossing and ambitious collage of musical influences done with consummate artistry. Lyrically it is mysterious and poetic. The album is a sonic departure from Cerati's work with Soda Stereo. Gustavo Cerati is Latin-America's finest Rock-Pop exponent and this work, Bocanada is a musical landmark. Buy it now!

Summary: A Must! 2006-08-13
Comment: I have heard Cerati before, but this one's knocked me out. I was at a Hispanic furniture store once, wandering around doing nothing; this CD came on in the background. After a few tracks, I was so captivated by the beauty and emotion of this project, I had to just sit down and listen to it. The blend of strings, accoustic guitar, electronics, beautiful harmonies and beat. This CD is an absolute must for anyone who truly appreciates great music.

Comment: This is Cerati's second solo album and it has a different style than the previous one. Here he incorporates a wide variety of elements including several different electronic effects, tribal percussions, folkloric instruments, etc. Cerati mixes many styles and gives the album a kaleidoscopic effect making of it some sort of collage. I strongly recommend this album, particularly to people that are enthusiastic about music and appreciate the detail in it. One of the best albums I've heard.
