1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Arroz Con Mango (Audio CD) Finally a US Timba band capable to groove like those in Havana. I grew up dancing Timba in Cuba and this band makes me feel like if I was there all over again. Once you get Timba in your system every other rhythm takes a second place.
A LATIN GRAMMY nomination for this band speaks for itself. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Eva Ludwig "Eva Ludwig" (Wilmington, North Carolina) - See all my reviews This review is from: Arroz Con Mango (Audio CD) don't know that much about Cuban music - just know I've loved Buena Vista Social club since that album came out. I never believed anything could top that. But now that I've listened to ths album by these young Miami-based Cubans, I've fallen in love with Cuban music all over again. A perfect album to perk you up on even the bluest of days. These guys have a pipleline into some pure sense of musical joy that most musicians just dream of.
