But then doesn't it always feel like a short time later the new album is played out? And it ensues naturally that you'd like the group to come out with another new album so that you have new stuff to listen to? Well, this isn't the case with Jarabe de Palo's new disc "Adelantando". It's different enough from each of his previous 4 main albums that it doesn't resemble the same sound. He branches out with new structures in the songs, new formats, some different instruments, new voices, and even a song in Italian. The themes are just as deep but unique to those previously appearing in his work. I didn't love the cd at first and was kind of disappointed. But then a few more listens and I was hooked on several songs. I had the same reaction to Dave Matthews' "Don't Drink the Water" and later was thrilled with it.
