Summary: Disappointed. 2010-09-07
Comment: First of all, when I purchased this item, there were no audio samples available, otherwise I would not have bought it. Yes, the man has a nice voice, yes the guitar and other instruments sound pleasant, but overall, I was just not impressed. I bought this CD along with the Whistlefritz DVD "A jugar", and was upset when I realized many of the songs in the CD are just repeats from the video.

My two-year-old didn't care too much for the songs, either, and she normally loves many kinds of music. Yes, I know they're meant to TEACH Spanish, but I think we'll just stick to children's music that comes directly from a spanish-speaking country, such as Vamos a Jugar, by Tatiana (from Mexico).

Bottom line: I regret buying this CD.

Summary: Daughter loves it. 2010-07-21
Comment: This is a great CD. Get it. The songs are nice and well produced. Most songs are in a slow beat, a couple faster. I think this makes it easier for the child to learn the words. I have had the cd for over a year now and it's been in constant rotation since we got it. My daughter, now 3 yrs old, really enjoys it. I also own the 3 Whistlefritz DVDs and my daughter loves them and watches them constantly. The DVDs are great and also easy for the parents to watch. There's a new Anaya-Whilstlefritz music cd that I will be purchasing!

Summary: Espectacular!!! 2010-06-25
Comment: A Bailar! Let's Dance! is my absolute favorite CD for kids to date. As a bilingual storyteller I have struggled to find Spanish music to entertain children between puppet skits and stories. I especially love the many many songs that can get kids up and moving. My favorite's are: Baila, Baila, Baila, Los Deditos, Bailando con las Manos, and Los Ninos Cuando Bailan. Jorge's wonderful guitar playing and clear silky voice make this CD a must have for children's librarians. My storytelling audience (English & Spanish speakers) constantly ask for the CD and love moving to the beat. I can't wait for your next production!

Summary: Dance and swing through Spanish class 2009-12-09
Comment: Spanish is sooo much easier to learn for children when there's entertainment included. The language and intonations will expose the children to another voice than the teacher's or the Spanish news channel. All for stimulation and education. And great for that party when the kids take the floor and let fly that Spanish song to dance at!

Summary: Not impressed 2009-10-07
Comment: I little disappointed with this cd. Another review said it was a mix of salsa, merengue, cumbia etc. However it is just some guy singing along with his guitar. All the songs sound pretty much the same to us and not exactly exciting. My son much prefers listening to Juan Luis Guerra than these songs!
