This is an absolute wonderful compilation of wonderful stories sung by Cri-Cri set back in the 40's. It brings back memories of my childhood when my abuelita used to put this music on for me. Highly recommend. The video that is included is wonderful!! You can find the lyrics on line as they are not included with the CD.

When I was growing up I remember my parents would play the Cri-Cri lps to me and my siblings. This is a music genre I am not sure how to describe, they are more mature than nursery rhymes, and definitely not pop - I would say it is good music (in Spanish) for children between the ages of toddler to pre-tweens. I was very surprised and glad to find this such a cd available.
I purchased two copies, one for my niece and the other for my nephew and I've already heard the positive remarks from the parents (my siblings). If you have heard of Cri-Cri, I do not need to continue describing this music style and product. If you are open to having your child hear music in spanish - you can easily follow along even if you are not fluent. This cd is a create...Read more

Bought this for my daughter because I remember hearing these songs as a kid. The songs are so creative, the sound is great considering they were recorded probably 60 years ago (maybe more) and the compilation is huge. The music is enjoyable for kids and adults (kids cd's can be really annoying). If you speak Spanish this cd set is a must. If you want your kids to learn some Spanish I think this will be a fun way to practice it.
My baby loves the songs especially the ones with animal noises. My husband is white and doesn't speak Spanish but likes the music. He'll hum along and sing the few words he recognizes.
For fans of CriCri, am I the only one that get super nostalgic hearing "Di por que"?? Can't get through that song without wanting to cry! lol
