Great Collection of Spanish Music for Kids!,

Both of the Spanish immersion videos from Whistlefritz -- Los Animales and Vamos a Jugar -- were big hits with my two kids (ages 4 and 6). So I bought a copy of this Spanish song collection right after it was released. My kids love listening to the CD at home and in the car. They have picked up a ton of Spanish from the eclectic mix of songs, which includes songs about parts of the body, directions, animals, colors, etc. The songs are catchy and sometimes after dropping my kids off at school I find I'm still listening to the music without realizing it. I highly recommend this CD!

Singing the target language is such a good way to learn a foreign language, and this CD is a good addition to anyone's language learning library. From tongue twisters such as "Hora De Limpiar" to the everyone-should-learn "Las Mañanitas," each song is a little lesson in itself. The words are clearly sung, and the music is pleasant enough for an adult. I recommend this for both children 2+ to adults.

A wonderful CD for Spanish play,

The music is wonderful! My 4 year old wants to hear it over and over again. It's a great resource for playing games with your kids to teach them body parts, for example. The music is very agreeable, too, so you won't be banging your head against the wall. Even though I don't have the booklet (I bought the CD in mp3 format), I've had no problems in understanding the lyrics. I was looking for a fun and catchy CD to use in helping me teach my kids Spanish, and this is it! As a linguist, I highly recommend "immersion" type materials where the children learn the language without a translation. This CD is 100% in Spanish and would also be just as fun and just as appropriate for native Spanish speaking children.
